We were loading up dogs for transport day (our first transport to Portland, OR!), and realized that one of the dogs, a chihuahua mix, was pregnant. We couldn't send her in that condition, and so Veronica Ferrantelli came to the rescue and took the poor girl into her home to foster. While there the sweet little lady had 3 puppies, which can be seen in this video (viewer discretion is advised)
Soon after, during another one of our transports, someone was dumping a Pit Bull puppy. Veronica, always an amazing hero, took this puppy home as well. This pit puppy wanted a mama so bad that one night it insisted on sucking on Veronica's chin all night. Poor Veronica! It was the only way for anyone to get any sleep around the house. Veronica woke up with a hickey on her chin the next morning! That's true dedication.
A solution had to be made, and this is what the pit puppy decided that would be (4 minutes of adorable footage)
